Great martial place for kids!! My teenage love it!
Went to a Gi class while traveling in the area. I had a great experience. Staff and members were friendly. The class had good technique. The people I rolled with during the open roll were in control and very fun to roll with. No mat bullies. I will be going again if I am back in the area.
I studied karate for many years and I wrestled in highschool, I also boxed for a couple years, so when I chose a school for my kid I do my research. I recently brought my son to learn MMA and was very happy with how the children are treated with compassion and discipline. My son has thanked me many times for getting him into the sport. Coach Brian and his team are high quality martial artists and i can't think of a better place for my children to enjoy the science of self defense and confidence building.
This is my go to spot to train BJJ whenever I travel to Bozeman for business. I've swung in numerous times in the past and have been welcomed in with open arms. Everyone is super friendly and nice. Bryan has set up a great and efficient structure to the classes. As a brown belt, I've helped run a couple of classes and the students are eager and open-minded to learn new techniques. They have good questions and absorb information very quickly. I've seen them successfully use that same technique in the rolls afterwards. Nobody has a meat head complex and the lower belts offer some tough rolls as well. I strongly recommend coming here if you want to get started in martial arts or are swinging into the area for a couple of days.
As soon as I came into my first class, people started introducing themselves and trying to make me feel welcome. The atmosphere is awesome and so are all the instructors. They really want everyone to learn/improve/have fun.
