Dr. McCahan was so empathetic and caring. He was not in a hurry and listened to everything I had to say. He was clear in his explanations and very practical and forthright. I was really pleased with him.

Dr. McCahan is a very kind and personable human, however his practice is average. I have had to call to fix requests and change refill information on multiple occasions, he lacks a creative approach when presented with something other than a textbook case, and does not let patients lead care decisions. I have been diagnosed with my condition ten years, moved to several places and had access to specialists I would describe as excellent, however the care I have received from Dr. McCahan has not measured up.

I wish there were more rheumatologists. I feel like my RA, OA, and fibromyalgia is too complex for what I can get help for at Bozeman Deaconness. Sadly.
