Dr. Joseph Sheehan is both extremely competent and caring. I am an RN and have been around the block, especially when it comes to my eyes. He answered all my questions, and addressed my concerns one at a time. He gave me my vision back. Literally. I had cataract surgery in both eyes, and have a very complicated history that includes two detached retinas. I have no doubt my eyes are healed. My vision is the best it has ever been as an adult. I would recommend Medical Eye Specialists, hands down.

They properly dealt with my diabetes and eyes. The ophthalmologist suggested I use the less expensive optometrist, she was trained by the ophthalmologists there, and i get the best now!

Dr Sheehan is the best eye doctor I've been to. Fixed my eyes when other doctors dismissed the issues I was having. He is great at actively listening and genuinely wants to work together with you to solve problems. Absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for an eye doctor who cares.

The best eye doctor and office I have ever been to. I found out that my eyes were getting pretty neglected from my previous doctor in PA and although it was scary and I was emotional about finding out this news the staff here was amazing and made me feel so much better. Not only did they handle dealing with someone who was emotionally having a bad day but they also took time to get me to see better and were kind and supportive the entire time. I can’t recommend more!!!!! They were amazing.
