Woke up on Christmas Day morning with a curtain in my right eye. Went to the local ER to find out I had issues with both retinas. It ended up being a blessing that the only doctor willing to see me that very day was several hours away in Marc Comaratta. Marc was the consummate professional in addressing and repairing my retinal issues. During surgery I woke up (which is very normal) and was comforted by how passionate he was about his surgical skills... it was obvious he was 'in his comfort zone' performing his craft. This was all conveyed to me by how he spoke to his surgical assistants during the process. I read where others say he is arrogant (and I don't believe this is the case) but maybe the disconnect here is he radiates confidence in his skills and likely takes satisfaction in his work. Regardless he doesn't need to be my best friend while I'm in his office which I feel some of these other comments are seeking. He's professional and DOING HIS JOB and doing it well. Bottom line is I trust him and I also place my vision for the future in his most capable hands.

The office personnel was ok its the office manager Kelly very rude and short. Best advice spend the time o there website and pre fill out all the paperwork before goimg in make a copy of you driver's license and insurance card as well as a credit card front and back this way you can avoide Kelly and just deal with the nice receptionist. Only reason I did not walk out I like my regular eye Dr and her staff. She said he Dr Comaratta is very good. I been here for 48 min. And my appointment was 30 min ago not to bad. Rachale is awaome she has a great personality and very professional. Im currently waiting for Dr Comaratta. He walked in and just cold from the start. Like other post no bedside manner and very arrogant. If you wish to see him you must not ask questions and willing to accept what ever he and his office manager say. Remember here you are only a number not a person.

My dad needed to get an injection for his AMD while traveling in Montana. We were able to make an appointment with Dr. Comaratta. His office staff (admin and technicians) were very pleasant and professional. Dr. Comaratta treated my dad with utmost professionalism and respect. I am totally baffled by the negative comments here. If we are to travel again in MT with the same needs, I will be sure to look out for Dr. Comaratta and his team.

Rough and rude. I would walk to Boston to see another eye doctor before I would see this arrogant jerk again.

The worst experience I have ever had at a doctors office...techs and office support was decent, but Comaratta came off as arrogant and terse...I was at the office in support of my 88 year old Mom, who was having an evaluation...She was made uncomfortable while being examined....I wanted to ask questions about my Mom's condition and recommended treatment, but we were left alone in the office to watch a video while the doctor was somewhere else....Mom needs a doctor who is capable of a smile, compassion, and the ability to at least pretend he cares about making his clients feel comfortable...we will be finding another office elsewhere for the beginning of her treatment...
