Spring Creek campground is my favorite spot. The scene is out of a movie. Calm and beautiful. Most of the time there are only a few spots available but if there are make sure to grab one! L the host is kind and caring. She will do anything she can to help you. Treat the place with respect and you will be respected! Use the bear boxes and have a great time at this one of a kind destination.

Great campground near the lake, beautiful campsite views. Great place to camp near Yellowstone. Be prepared for a bumpy ride in!

This place used to be free and an incredible find because of its stunning location. I’ll never return because of the NPS and there charging of 16$ per night. We paid 10$ upon arrival and attached it to our post thinking that was the fee (our mistake for reading wrong) We weren’t sure how many days we were going to stay but after being awoken by aggressive bangs on our trailer and left a note about the proper fee at 7:45am, we will never return. What a great way to ruin a peaceful camping trip.

Many lots on water. Very open in a few with no shade for a good chunk of the day. Others are tucked in nicely but not on the water so much. Vault toilets, trash cans, fire rings with grills and big bear boxes. Mosquitoes and flies are real though. Bring as much spray, sticks, zappers as you can... they are hungry! This side of the lake dead ends by the way about 6mi or so past this last campground.

Great location! Camping is right next to the water which was a plus for the kids. The water is shallow for a ways out so was warm enough for a mid morning swim. They spent most of the time catching crawdads. I would advise that mid summer mosquitoes are in full force and deep woods repellent only works for about 15 mins. Bring your deet. Outhouses cleaned daily and within a few yards. Great views.
