Typically there's an entrance fee, but it's been no cost to the public right now as the downstairs is currently shut down (because it holds federal artifacts?). We were the only patrons in the center and Jeff was able to answer all our questions; he is just a wealth of knowledge.

Most was closed due to covid19 but the trails are nice and it looks like it would be a really good place to visit. It is very reasonably priced at 5.00, and they take a wide variety of interagency park passes like the national parks pass. I hope to visit again some time when they are fully open. They are letting everyone ed in free now because of the closure of most exhibits.

Much is closed off for covid, but there is still some good (if limited) info and a gift shop. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great visitors center!! Very informative. Take the time to visit Ryan dam a short distance away
