So I called because the lady parked in the handicap spot with no plate no placard and literally ran into the store like she was running the 50-yard dash.nnI called in the plate number and the description with the car and they said that they don't enforce it on private property that I would have to speak to the store manager.nnSo when is it okay for a police department to have a policy where they don't enforce the Arizona revised statutes section 28 - 884 which is a legal law in Arizona on any handicap parking space?!?
I was very appreciative of our local law enforcement being so much more than enforcing the law. I asked for their assistance this early evening and they came through! Thank you!
Officer Doty was incredibly kind and helpful when I got stuck on the side of the 89 highway with a busted undercarriage part. We have requested numerous times for patrol in our neighborhood because of vehicles running stop signs, speeding and aggressive driving. So far we have not seen one patrol car yet! Don't understand the lack of effort.
Prescott is growing fast with more traffic than ever. I am a retired traffic cop and am very disappointed that there is hardly any proactive traffic enforcement. Don't have to write tickets all the time just a friendly reminder goes a long way. Come on chief do your job!
