Fossil Springs is one of Arizona's water oasis places. It's a bit of hike in and much harder on the way out, however if you go early, you can enjoy the feeling of crystal clear water on a 100F day. In cooler weather you can hike upstream into the remote Sandrock Canyon where hidden archeological sites share the high cliffs with the eagles and hawks.
