did a miracle for me and got me off oxygen after so many years of being dependent on it. Feels good not to drag oxgen around. God bless.

For 15 months he kept doing the same in home oxygen test 3 times, telling me Medicare would never pay for my oxygen at night. I am claustrophobic and can not do a c pap. I have sleep apenea and have a mouth piece and my oxygen level drops to the 70's when I sleep. I finally went to another Pulmonolgist he did the correct test in a sleep study place. I got my oxygen within 1 week. Now I am doing fine no thanks to Dr. El-Harakeh! He jeopardized my life for 15 months.

Good physician, poor bedside manner. I had difficulty in setting up the appointment as it seemed that no one would call me back in a timely manner (January was the initial referral, I was seen in June). Initial visit was ok. He explained what procedures he was requesting me to do. I completed all requests and all of the members of his staff were very professional and friendly. I had a sleep study and my technician was awesome. I went back for a follow up and asked the Dr. to write a letter on my behalf regarding the sleep study. He refused saying that he never has, and never will, write a letter on behalf of patients for this situation. He had presumed that the referral was from the Veterans Administration. My referral was from my private insurance. His demeanor was less than courteous. I will look for other options in the future.nnUPDATE: 07/31/2020 I had a follow on teleconference with this physician. He spent the first part of the conversation on my health. The second part was clarifying why he wouldn't write a letter. He obviously didn't care for my first writing, referencing parts of it during the conversation. His demeanor did not change throughout the conversation. In the end, he recommended that I seek another physician to help me. I am dismayed that someone who is a professional would have this behavior to one of his (now former) patients.

I am writing for my wife. Dr. Elharakeh has been her COPD Dr. for almost 10 years. Currently, she has some sort of infection that he is working hard to fix. Good Doctor! Knows his stuff!

Love the doctor however, whoever manages the office does not follow through. I have been trying to get my oxygen recertified, so Medicare will pay for it. I have tried calling several times, they never answer their phone. I went into the office several times each time they said it would be taken care of. It's one month later and my supplier said the office still has not sent in paperwork. SonDOCTOR: good! OFFICE MANAGER: bad! :(
