Relaxing
There is no lake here. Just a sad little pond drained for farmers so they can use the septic water to sustain crops. It's a lovely sight sometimes. Other times, it brings out the worst in Clovis. Decent enough place during the 4th of July. Other than that, despite being the nicest park in Clovis, it still is rough around the edges. Part of it's charm, but I wouldn't take even a half hour trip to come here if I was looking for a place to unwind. Make sure your kid's shots are up to date if you plan on bringing them here to have fun.
I like the new tables but the seats are too slippery. My son slipped and fell, hitting his head, just trying to get on. When updating, maybe a different kind of material for the seating.. otherwise, a great place to go and relax.
Green Acres Park is a really nice park to just sit and relax I also was able to get out and feed the birds leftover bread that I had on my sandwich.
I love eating my lunch at green acres and watching the ducks attack all the innocent bystanders.nAll the people wanna do is fatten them up but no. The ducks want to make small children cry.n10/10 entertainment. Do recommend.
