Walgreens Pharmacy

The merch here is definitely pricier than, for example, Walmart, but it’s in a convenient location and has a decent selection. It’s easy to get your meds on time.

I've been going to this pharmacy for several years now and never had any issues. Im a pretty easy person and am always just in and out. Have had several issues where Walgreens says there's an issue w my insurance but when I call my insurance they aren't sure what Walgreens is talking about. Still, I never made a fuss This has caused a delay on more than a few occasions too. Today I called because for the first time in over 5 years, I needed to fill a script early due to having to be out of town beyond my refill date and was told by a male over the phone that it's not possible and there is nothing he could do. In fact, he said to call my doctor have her cancel my current script and have a new one sent to a pharmacy close to where I will be. This was not an option as I would not have access to a car during this period and the closest town is about 30 mins away. Bottom line is he or WALGREENS was unable to work w me per their policy. After hanging up and freaking out, I spoke w a friend who used to work for Walgreens and was told that they ARE able to do a one time exception for Vacation or an emergency situation and yes, even w the type of medication I am on. Of course it wouldn't change my refill date in the future which is exoected but at no point was this option even presented to me. Needless to say I transferred every single script to Walmart with the hour. Good looking out for your long time and loyal customers during one of the most stressful times

Had a great experience! My mother in law was in a lot of pain and was worried we wouldn't get here in time to fill her prescription that we had just gotten at the ER since it was already 9:40pm and they close at 10pm. Natalia greeted us at the drive in and I asked if the other location on coors was 24/7. She said yes so I told her I would just go there since they were closing. She wouldn't have it and insisted she help us instead of having drive over there. Of course we ran into an insurance issue, prolonging a seemingly quick transaction but Natalia went above and beyond to insure the problem was solved and we left with her prescription. Susan was also working with us and just left us with a pleasant experience. You'd think they just started their shift with how friendly and truly helpful they were and not waiting for their shift to end. This'll by mine and my family's new and permanent pharmacy from now on!!!!!!
