Cottages with friendly people. The owner Bill used to be the Cochise County Sheriff. This location has horses and is part of a bird sanctuary where you have non-stop Bird song. The cottages are clean well kept and very Arizonan. Highly recommend you give this place a check if you're in the area and need a place to stay.

A friend and I stayed last Spring in the Hacienda Cottage, and it was just delightful. We had as many conveniences as we needed, the room was lovely, and there was just the right combination of peace and privacy and opportunities to visit with Bill to learn about local birds and history. He and Jill have lived in the area for decades and were very very knowledgable, friendly and helpful. It was just great.

We will definitely be back! Stayed two nights for a wonderful, quiet and needed get-away. Not to mention all the birding and wildlife around the cottage! Owners very accommodating, friendly, and genuinely cared for our comfort and showed us many birds and other wildlife around their place. They know their stuff! May try for a winter visit!

Bill and Jill are fabulous hosts!! Our favorite place to stay on our trip, they are the nicest, most genuine people! Plus, they have beautiful horses! The cottage was perfect, lovely southwest decor and a patio to sit out on and enjoy appetizers. Would love to go back again!

So the important question is... Would you stay there again and the answer is you betcha!!!nnThe folks here are providing reasonably priced accommodations primarily to birders and naturalist that wasn't too visit Cave Creek Canyon just up the road. Just for the record Cave Creek Canyon is a world class site for watching birds... Very rare birds... Very beautiful birds.nnWe stayed in the Apache Cottage and we loved it. It's very honey so you feel comfortable being there like you do at home. It has some quirks like there kitchen sink and small fridge in a closet and they've given up a couch or a few stuffed chairs for two additional beds but who needs chairs inside when you can recline on a chaise lounge under the large eaves while you contemplate the sun setting over the Chiricahua's.nnBill was a great host and seemed willing to do what it took to make you stay memorable. That includes the bird feeders that drew a hood of birds and a few jackrabbits.nnBook it you won't regret it.
