I went here with my girlfriend. We both had fish and chips and sat outside in their patio area. The fish tasted fresh and mild everything fried cod should be. I grew up on the ocean catching and eating fish the same day. While few if any places can bring you fish that fresh I will say the fish we were served was handled well and made it to the plate in fine form. As good as the fish was the chips were the standout for me. Yes they were appropriately salted fried potatoes. But the too were well made and not an after thought. It's hard to give any place 5 stars while pandemic restrictions are in place. Everyone is doing their best to get by. They did well and I will return

I adore this restaurant! They offer splendid dishes, their menu is decent, The chef in that restaurant is very trained, I like very much trying all their dishes. The food is consistently of high class, the attitude towards the visitors is nice. I often eat in this restaurant and I not even once was disappointed. I recommend this place.

Stopped in for quick bite while in Folsom today. Definitely will be back for a more thorough exploration. But, I can tell you the Scotch Eggs are LOVELY! Looked like great selection of beers, both bottles and on tap, but we sadly had to get back on road, so couldn't partake....this time ud83dude09

Definitely reminded me of a great English pub. The food was really good. The batter on the fish was light and not thick like you can get on some fish and chips. The chips were good. Bangers also good and they were proper English sausages. That being said, the service was not so good. The bartender/ server was not wearing a mask, despite it saying on the door that you had to wear a mask on entry. She also had a bit of an attitude and was not very friendly at all. I felt as though she felt she was doing us a favour. Would have given 5* had it not been for the service.
