Awesome food here! The stuffed cabbage rolls are my absolute favorite... I get them every time we come to Chef George's. Tonight my son ordered the Hungarian goulash and it was amazing! Their salad is fantastic as well. Always a superb meal at this wonderful hidden gem.
Chef George's is a desert gem. The Greek salad is simply the best... Crisp, chilled bite size lettuce, cucumber & kalamata olives tossed with the best dressing. The paella was more than enough for 2 with big pieces of fresh fish, sausage, shrimp and mussels. And don't forget a piece of Lana's house made apple strudel. You won't be disappointed.
We each (4) had a different dinner and all were superb. Have been going there for 18 years and never had a bad meal.
Choice of dining room, bar or patio dining. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Serving sizes are generous.
They took our order on Christmas Eve, 5 min before they close. They were super courteous, and both the Chicken Marsala and the Parmigiana were delicious! We also loved the portion! Will be back whenever in Palm Desert!
