Just had two days fishing with Sierra Drifters. Had a fantastic time. I have fished with two bug Doug several times and always have a great time even if fishing is slow. Also went with Devin around the wild trout area and had some unbelievable fishing all by ourselves. Both provide a great learning experience.

Went on a half day trip through Sierra Drifters on Sunday, December 6, 2020. I requested Seth Cline as my guide as I have had previous trips with Seth. This was my first time with Seth since he has been working for Sierra Drifters. It was easy to set up trip and the communication with Sierra Drifters to confirm date and guide was great. While no longer a beginner at Fly Fishing, I still have a lot to learn about reading the water and deciding what type of rig and flies to use. Seth put me on the fish and more importantly educated me as to what he was seeing on the river and how we were going to fish the river and catch some fish. I landed the two biggest fish I have ever caught on a river. Both fish were in the 21-22 inch range and went on several runs after being hooked. Seth was very professional showing great patience and enthusiasm while instructing me on what I was trying to accomplish with my drifts. I consider myself a better fly fisher after having spent a half day on river with Seth. I will continue to use Sierra Drifters Guide Service and Seth Cline as my guide so I can accomplish my goals of becoming a better Fly FishermannnBrad H.

Fished two days in mid February with Doug; one on the Upper Owens and one on the Lower Owens.nBoth days great experiences.nOn the Upper Doug took us by snowmobile and we nymphed for big trout and caught several.nThe lower was in a drift boat and the time we had casting to fish rising to BWOs and catching them was worth it.nWe'll be back next year.

Just went out to the Upper Owens yesterday 1/13/21, with Hans Grotewold, he did a great job - he continues to amaze. I have used Sierra Drifters many times, Drifting on the Lower Owners, Lake Crowley, and the Upper Owens...etc...these folks are true Pros. Devin and Seth also provide fantastic service as well. Thank again Hans and Sierra Drifters.
