I called three times today..first rep didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing but she could of been new so that’s understandable..the 2nd time I called I couldnt stay on long because I was on lunch..but got put on a hold anyways..so I had to disconnect..but the 3rd time I called..I got someone amazing. She was very nice, courteous, and knowledgeable. She even helped lower my premium with a tax credit.. but beware I would not do this route again regarding the tax credit. You may or may not have to owe taxes later. I ended up owing taxes.

This comes from an experienced IT professional. What a complete waste of 2 hours of my life! The residents of Rhode Island deserve much better! The enrollment site is completely useless. It is nothing but a sloppily written site that is a frustrating, disjointed mess that does not function properly and leads applicants nowhere. I think I may have even lost a few IQ points just attempting to use it. An in-person visit is your only viable option.

If I could not give it any stars I would. I have had nothing but issues with Healthsource RI for years. Unfortunately where I work they don’t offer health insurance so this is my only way to purchase private insurance. They send me letters asking me to send in my payroll information in which I do and then it is never uploaded into my account. I then tried to do it online and it says it won’t accept it. And then without notifications they inactivate my health insurance all the time. And when I called them they don’t give me an answer as to why it was inactivated even though I pay monthly. They are so incompetent I can’t stand it. They have no problem taking your money every month but randomly deactivate your insurance for no reason.

After spending hours and hours on the phone trying to figure out our health insurance for next year, they inexplicably disenrolled us for this month and their computers won’t let us re-enroll. After we finally figured out insurance for next year, they doubled billed us, leaving me overdrawn in my bank account Christmas week. I was rudely informed that they have 30 days to process a refund for the money they stole. Just a horrendous experience and the health insurance I was able to obtain still falls short of meeting my families medical needs.
