Schooner Madeleine at Classic Cruises of Newport

I went on the noon sail. There's no scripted narration so there's no incessant chatter by the captain or crew, however, they're knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. Everyone was friendly and professional. It was smooth sailing on a beautiful day.

We went on the 4:30 cruise this evening and it was wonderful! Breezy and cooler on the water. Captain Wes and crew were very nice and personable as well. Would definitely sail with them again!

Outstanding afternoon cruise on 7/1/16 around Newport. The crew made it most enjoyable and you can tell they love their job. Charlie is a college age crewmember and was very informative and hilarious. Don't lose him, that type of personality is a hard find in the customer service industry. Sail was over 2 hours and everything was perfect. Definitely will be back with this boat and crew.

Nice way to get out on the water. Friendly crew. You can bring your own food and drinks (no liquor). While the major mansions are on the other side of the island, this 1 3/4 hour tour does point out some interesting sights such as where Bob Dylan supposedly first plugged in on stage.
