Cardines Field

An awesome place for catching a baseball game with the family! I've been going to see Newport Gulls games for a few years now and always have a good time when I go. The tickets are very affordable and there's inexpensive parking at the garage across the way if you show your game ticket when you leave (currently $5 for an adult game ticket and $2 for the garage).nnCardines Field itself feels like a throwback to a simpler time. There's no fancy seating, things look well worn by use, time and weather and the advertisers are local businesses.nnAs a dad, one thing I like is how they engage with the kids in the crowd. They often have chances for them to get on the field, win a tshirt or similar and meet the mascot Gully.nnIts easy going and affordable fun and for me a summer time must do.

What a fun night during baseball seasons. Newport Gulls bring in top college players and games are always fun to watch. What a gift Newport RI has with that historic field.nnWould have earned five stars but long, slow lines to get a slice of pizza or hot dog and drink at food station needs improvement to move lines faster,

Gem of Downtown Newport. One block from the water is one of the oldest ball fields in America. Home of the Sunset League as well as the Newport Gulls. 3000 seat capacity.

Great little ballpark in downtown Newport. The family and I had an awesome time at the game.

Went for high school baseball game .Excellent facility, stands like McCoy field , you can see everything . Bathrooms very clean. Well kept . very professional .
