Huge upgrade from the old NGIS. Staff is great, room is nice, stay here if you have a choice on base.
Try to stay in the newer building, it's updated and very nice, modern. Pictures are views from the balcony off or room, of the Newport Pell Bridge, bay and a pond. Barbecue grills available on a very nice, large patio. We had a one bedroom with Queen size bed and a Queen sleeper in the living room, microwave, countertop with storage, refrigerator and a sink. It had a great balcony with a glass rail. Commissary and BX nearby.
No complaints at all and the hospitality is fantabulous
They are always busy so reservations can be hard to get even if you are there on orders. Reserve well in advance. Comfortable rooms and good staff. If you are in the new building everything (gym, club, work areas) on the island is walking distance.
