I started my kids at Mission First and was blown away by the attention and guidance given by the instructors. I started going myself shortly after and haven't looked back. The staff and students are welcoming and more than happy to get you up to speed if you've never done any grappling.nnThe kids classes are fun but informative. They're a mixture of challenging and rewarding that keeps the kids interested and working hard.nnIn the adult classes, Pat works hard to get to know each student and challenge them in ways they specifically need. You won't get that sort of relationship anywhere else.
I consider myself lucky to have found Mission First, I've spent a few years looking for the right school with no luck and finally found it here. The instructors are the most detail oriented and focused individuals you can ask for. They take personal reasonability for your long term health and growth in the sport, and are able to cater to your individual goals whether its to compete in competitions or just to learn some self defense. Cant recommend it enough.
I came into Mission First about 2 years ago looking for a gym to work out at and to learn some self defense. What I found was a family of like-minded, positive, hard working people who are all trying to better themselves physically and mentally. My 11 year old daughter has started training as well and she loves the school and community as much as I do. Just can’t say enough good things about Pat and the Mission First Family!
I love the instructors and the students I roll with. This place has great atmosphere for kids no doubt. It is also just what adults need to train and get better at Jiu Jitsu and be a better person overall. You can work as hard as you want here because everyone has the team attitude and respect for each other, we all make each other better. Thanks Mission First!
Coming from a great school in Atlanta I did not know what to expect. This gym is is outstanding, extremely focused on attention to detail and execution of proper technique. The classes are the perfect size for a friendly learning atmosphere that any age, size or skill level can excel in.
