Not all mechanics like to work on Volkswagens. I brought my car here early last week and was very pleased with the service that I received. Frank was prompt, took care of the problem, and then took the time to explain to me what I might need to do in the upcoming months to better maintain my car. Having looked up the possible costs for what I needed done I left feeling like I was charged fairly and tread well. I will be back.
I just moved to Newport from Boston and needed my car to be fixed. I had already spent over 2,000 on it and found myself in a pinch. I took my car to a garage right down the street from where I moved. It was the best decision I could of made. The guys welcomed me with laughter and made me feel like I could trust them. They put my car up in the air and told me what it needed and to bring it back Friday. They patched my muffler for nothing so I could get by till I could come up with the cash. They took time out of their day to help a stranger. I’m from a small town in Maine and know how nice and close all our town people are. This was just like home. I’ve taken my car back twice and have had the same kind service from them. I highly recommend this garage. Thank you guys for making my life easier and for all the laughs we have when I come there. I had an emergency with my car this past Saturday. I called them to bring my car to their garage they waited and stayed open. They worked on my car immediately.
