Five minute walk to Ice Box Cave and Ledges Overlook from the Ledges Trailhead Parking lot.
Absolutely One of thee most gorgeous trails in the Cuyahoga Valley. Nice parking lot & restrooms available. Very large field big enough to fly a kite have picnics family reunions or do fitness laps. Several BBQ grills on site near overlook. Trail is not handicap friendly. But if you can strap up your love one or Buddy somehow to carry through. It’s worth it. There is cliffs and dangerous terrain. Ledges, rocks, crevices etc. Be very attentive with small children and pets. Pet friendly park. Open year round dawn to dusk. Not a very large trail system unless you link to other trails near by. Pavilions available with picnic tables. So Scenic and fun to explore all the rocks, see a small cave. If you explore enough you’ll see carvings in the rocks. Historical staircase built in between two ledges. The scenic overlook looks across the Cuyahoga Valley and beyond. This place is perfect for photographers and outdoor enthusiasts! I Love coming here year round. My favorite is the Fall through spring due to less foliage and opportunity to see so much more!
