We traveled from Toledo to Canton to purchase my husband's car. After completing the purchase, we stayed at the hotel. Front desk staff was very pleasant, making sure to go over amenities and breakfast time for the next morning. We walked to the elevator where we were greeted with an extremely musty odor inside the elevator. Our room was conveniently located just down from the elevator. The room was standard; however we quickly noticed that the remote for the bedroom TV did not work but the living room one did so no harm there. Lounging in the bedroom we noticed that the smoke alarm was covered in plastic (perhaps they had been painting?) as was the living room detector. After dining locally, food was brought back to the room. Looking in the cabinets for plates and silverware, we found most of it was not there. Upon checking the dishwasher, we found plates, utensils, and cups... thankfully clean. I've stayed at many Residence Inn's but this is the first one that has had as many minor issues. This was a wonderful experience, recently stayed here with my husband for a soccer match for our children. Everything came together perfectly, the front desk person Jacob gave us great places to eat and order from, also help us with directions to a local vineyard and also gave our kids some recommendation of a trampoline park near by. They were accommodating for our dog and the housekeeper Amanda was so friendly and gave us extra towels before we even asked. I would recommend this place to anyone for a simple experience.
Loving it so far. Full size refrigerator, microwave, glass top stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal, pet friendly with an outside area for pets and pet clean up station, fold out sectional, great location, laundry, exercise, basketball hoop, pool, very clean, great selection of tv channels (including HBO) with guide No negatives so far. I would definitely recommend this place for extended stays.
Clean, comfy rooms. Great staff. Definitely stay again if in the area
I stayed here recently and it was a terrible experience. The place is dirty and old. Unfortunately there was also a bug in my bed and the pull out couch was broken so there was nowhere to sleep. Breakfast was also on granola bars and yogurt. I advise staying away from this hotel :(
