I recently had to rush to Marion General Hospital for an Emergency with My Father.I can tell You the Heart Drs,Nurses and Clergy were Absolutely Wonderful with All of Us,I have 4 Brother's then you add my Sister in laws so we make a instant crowd. The Lady from Clergy stayed with Us the entire time the only time she left was to check on Our Dad to keep Us informed.Thank you So Very much to Everyone that took Care of Dad You saved His Life We are Forever Gratefulud83dudc90ud83dudc90ud83dudc90

The call center is a horrible idea. Have waited 20 min twice today. Cannot get through to doctor. It loses the personal touch. People don't want to talk with a call center.

I am extremely disappointed and unhappy with the way I was treated by er staff. My son is of age, however he is mentally disabled and was admitted into the er for an evaluation. Due to covid, they told me I wasn’t allowed in so I waited in the parking lot. I am listed as my sons emergency contact and I am authorized to be provided with his medical information. An er social worker called me and asked about the symptoms since my son he was totally incoherent. She stated that he could not even tell her what his name was. Hours later, an er nurse called me and said the social worker was working on admitting him against his will and they will call me with more information soon. I called the er back in a couple hours and asked how my son was doing and they told me they had no information and could not confirm if he was there or not, I asked for the social worker and a different answered then before. I told her about my disabled son and I needed to know where he was. She said all she could tell me was he wasn’t admitted and he could’ve either walked out and left, been arrested or been transferred to another facility. I told her I needed to know his whereabouts but the er social worker hung up on me! I was extremely worried and in mental anguish due to this terrible treatment that I cried at not knowing what happened to him. For the next few hours, I called other Ohio health facilities and finally found him no help from Ohio health. By the way, The hipa act states that as long as you have a person’s first and last name, you can be told is they are admitted into the hospital, unless the person says you are specifically not to be told.....and I proof in his file, that I should be given much more info than simply him being there or not. They should’ve called me, as they promised, and told me that he was being transferred.
