Clean motel close to access the lake and marsh areas. Grocery store half mile away. Great place to crash before getting back to hunting and fishing.
DONT STAY HERE. Horrible customer service. They over charged me a few days before Christmas. Then when I went to go back to get my refund the manager and owner started cussing and yelling at me for their mistake. I played for 3 days. Thur. Fri. And sat. When I got off of work sat. My key didn't work. I went to the office and they were like why are you still here. I said I played. Not for sat. They said. They were all screwed up in the head over the fact that Saturday was good for all day Saturday and all night Saturday. Horrible people to deal with. Grumpy old lady, can't understand owner, and the rooms are very outdated with hard beds. I can't believe the price they charge. I WOULD NOT GO HERE.
Everyone was super sweet, but the establishment was dirty, the lobby smelled like cigarettes and urine, and our room had cockroaches. Again, the staff is great and helpful, and the location is also nice, but we ended up leaving because we found a cockroach in the bed. When we left, we were told we would receive a phone call the next morning and should be able to get at least half of the money refunded, neither of which happened... So, we ended up paying for a room we didn't stay in that was infested with cockroaches. Not the best customer service.
They have the greatest bartenders there. Say hi to Elaine and Dinna.
No frills, but clean, friendly, and close to the marina for fishing.
