Cabin 43. Nice location, warm and comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Salt Fork Park. However, the cabin needs some serious attention! Dirty...moved a chair to get a better view of the lake only to find food and toe nail clippings!! DVD did not work, lack of silverware....and behind the doors had not been cleaned for a very long time. Serious black mold issue around the shower....and it would have been a nice touch if the soap dispensers had been filled...fortunately we had brought our own. Not really a value for money weekend but..adapt and overcome and we did enjoy our stay.

Stayed for 3 days and had a great time but the cabins were disappointing considering the cost. We stay at state park cabins quite a bit so we know what to expect. The mattresses definitely need replaced and our cabin was missing some basic kitchen equipment like a carrot peeler and salad bowl. We had friends staying in other cabins and one had a can opener that didn't work. There was a layer of dust on the valance in the bathroom but the shower was very clean. We'd really like to see ODNR do a better job of making sure the cabins are well equipped. The hiking was great, even in the snow and the scenery was beautiful.

Stayed in cabin 39. Great view and accomodations. Excellent hiking trails. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly, especially Nikki Turner.

We rented a chalet, which includes a fireplace and hot tub. The cabin was clean and pretty well kept and right on the lake. It was well stocked with plates, bowls and cooking utensils. The bed was comfortable and firm. The only thing I'd complain about was the windows in the screened in porch where the hot tub was were very hard to close / lock and one window didn't have locks. Also, the microwave was missing the wheel that goes under the cooking plate, but overall, it was a really nice cabin for the price. Breakfast at the lodge was tasty and cheap! We'll be back for sure!

Cabin 27 - great location, can walk right up to the lake. Only downside is the cabin wasn’t cleaned all the way and it could use a few repairs.
