I went in January 30 at about 1030am and bought a red bull and a peace tea. I will not be returning ever. Ran in for something to drink, got up to the cash register to pay and the guy asked me if this was everything, I said yes. He said 'one million dollars' trying to be funny which is fine I laughed slightly and didn't say anything. I was in a hurry to get to work. Then he continued to say something else and then said 'what would Jesus do?' I looked up and said 'maybe you shouldn't assume everyone believes in God.' I don't care what people believe in, but to bring up religion in a gas station check out is ridiculous, I don't care if you are trying to be funny and make light conversion. After that he CONTINUED with jokes!! Asked me if I wanted a bag and I said no thank you, he replied 'oh to good for my bag?' I just walked out because I felt so awkward and didn't even know what to say to him at that point. I was appalled at the experience I just had. I never go to that gas station and I will not be going back.
The gentleman who waited on me made me laugh. He was very customer friendly. I never liked going in there before because of the security guard. Now I think I know where I will be getting my cigarettes from now on.
