Beautiful and peaceful place to be. Mr. Bill is very accommodating and has gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable.nnThe paddle boats are so much fun and look weathered but are reliable and sturdy.nnWeve had no issues with our sewer or back gassing into our camper. The water treatment plant near the property does smell every now and then but nothing outrageous.nnIt's 5 minutes into town and conveniently near the 35 interstate. Lots of wildlife scurrying around and you can sometimes spy deer around the park in the early morning. Overall really pleased with this park ud83dudc4d

Great place to stay! It sits between 2 major roads on Standpipe Rd which is nice and quiet with less traffic. The owners and groundskeepers are wonderful people, very pleasant, friendly, and helpful!

First and foremost let me say Mr Bill goes out of his way to make everyone feel at home. I recently had 11 months at this campground and never had the first issue.nnYou will see in some of the reviews people complaining about dogs etc... I never had an issue whatsoever, Lady the Campground mascot has to be one of the most friendly dogs I have ever encountered. Sometimes people with small dogs tend to over look those annoying barks and attitude until something happens.nnAs for the electrical issues I never had the first problem and was beside of the person who said they had the issues. If sewer smells are coming through the seals on your RV maybe you need to have that checked out. Not the campground issue.nnI would recommend this campground to anyone it’s very quiet, great people and close to nearby stores and restaurants.

This must have been a beautiful campground back in the day but sadly the owner, Bill, has allowed it to seriously decline. Aside from the rapidly declining campground I experienced other issues that made this a never return to campground and one of the first times I couldn't wait to get out of there fast enough.nnCons:nThe sewer lines had a positive pressure that back gassed into the trailer though the holding tanks. This caused awful ongoing headaches and nausea to the point of vomiting sick. We had to dump the gray tanks on the ground, bleach out several times and disconnect from the dump line and let the gray tanks flow on the ground to keep the smell out. That fixed the problem until the sewage treatment facility eye sore right outside our trailer would float it's waste odor up to the trailer to seep in through the corners of the slides, not to mention the motor running all night long.nnThe power would constantly cut off several times during the day. Turns out it was a faulty panel that would trip the EMS. One of the legs would keep dropping voltage and cut the power. The panels were exposed on the exterior that caused moisture problems causing some kind of arc short.nnIndividuals would sit outside their trailers drinking and partying to late hours of the night being loud and obnoxious. Bill could always be found in the middle of the partying.nnTrailers are pretty much stacked on top of each other with the view of your neighbor trailer. Many of the lots also had steep sloping off the side.nnA lot of rutting and erosion throughout the gravel driveway all around the campground.nnThere is no leash requirement for dogs. Many large dogs, although most friendly, running around free. Everyone who had small dogs did have them leashed. However, the owner, Bill's dog though friendly to people would become vicious and attack any dog that would bark at it. One lady with a Yorkie who barked was attacked by Bill's dog and had to take her to the vet. She reported to Bill who brushed it off and didn't do anything to make it right, not even keep his dog in check. This made taking our Yorkie out a miserable experience as we had to watch for his dog every time we went out. If the dog saw you it would come up to you regardless. Holding our dog it would show teeth and growl, not an experience that I would want anyone to have to go through.nnThere are paddle boats but they are rusted out and in poor condition.nnThe decking around the club house is rotting away.nnThe playground only has rusted, falling apart, play equipment.nnCost was 500 a month plus electricity. Expensive considering the issues this park has.nnPros:nnGood Verizon signal. Did not need our trailer booster.nnWater not too hard or soft but a bit much chlorine in it. Water you could taste a slight chlorine taste.nnThough many eye sores through out the grounds, it is a beautiful piece of property with 2 lakes.nnThere is a clubhouse with a working TV and 2 pool tables but the pool sticks do not have tips making impossible to play. It also has pay washer and drier if needed.
