They have done a nice job of adjusting the floor plan to encourage social distancing. A good product refocus on current and popular trends to adjust for the new market. And the staff is as helpful as they've always been.

This place has been able to finally let the employees help others fund books. Due to Covid19 they reopened but you was not allowed to inquire. This made it very hard to get what I was looking for. Made me appreciate all these people do for us each n EVERY time we visit!!

This Barnes & Noble bookstore in Pickerington on State Route 256 has good parking including Handicap. It is handicap accessible with handicap restrooms and diaper changing station. They have a great children's area with books, games, toys & educational workbooks, teen book selections, current publications, discounted books, creative items and seasonal cards, stationary, playing cards, gifts items, puzzles, games, totes, bags & back packs. Great magazine section. Can't find a book? Central help desk can locate or order books instock -- mailed to you or pick up in store. Special events for children & book events. Sit in the corner Cafe near the windows to relax with Starbucks beverages, cookies, pastries, sandwiches, and today they had large pretzels with cheese & spinach which my husband said was great. Great selection of magazines and popular daily newspapers. You will find reading glasses with coordinating cases.

I found a few books that are going to be a great read, I am going to go on line to see if I can find them in larger print. I am so glad there are still books around you can thumb through, highlight and bookmark. Excellent atmosphere, displayed so inviting. Thank you

My order online and pickup was my first experience with this location. Waited and it was never shown as ready. When it was close to closing I decided to come in as it was obvious I was going to have to wait until the next day if I didn’t. After providing my order info to the customer service desk I was told they didn’t know why my order was never shopped. He grabbed my book for me and I purchased another book I saw and he checked me out at the customer service desk. Having that experience in mind, the second time around I decided to check for a book’s availability, confirmed they had it and decided to come straight in this time. No one was at the customer service desk so I walked to the front checkout area and waited in line. I was told, to get help finding where the book was located, I needed to speak to someone at the customer service desk. I grabbed a lap desk from the front to purchase with my book and went to the customer service desk, where a woman was assisting a caller. I waited for her to finish and asked for the book. She proceeded to tell me it was on hold for someone, I asked was it the only one available in the store and she said yes matter of factly. I asked if I could pay for my item there and she said she couldn’t check me out there. Though as I’ve said, I’ve been able to pay for my items previously at this same desk. I don’t think I will ever shop here again. I’ll stick with Amazon unfortunately. I love book stores so these experiences were a disappointment for sure.
