This review is on behalf of my parents in Sturgis, SD. During the recent rain storms over the Fourth of July, water leaked into one of their basement bedrooms. My father called Service Master, as he had seen many advertisements promoting the company for such circumstances. He spoke to a man named Steve to discuss services and they scheduled a date and time to have the bedroom carpet shampooed. Just shampooed. Not only did Steve give my father the run around just to schedule the shampooing but then proceeded to call my father at work the following Friday to give him the run around again. My father finally told Steve that if he didn't want to do the job then he could cancel the service request. Steve said that they didn't want to do it and the phone call ended leaving my parents needing to find someone else to do a simple shampoo job. Please stop advertising for services if you cannot provide them. And Steve, please find another profession if you're going to be a condescending jerk.
Great service! Our carpeting is middle-grade but old, and we hadn't had it cleaned in several years. There were a couple of very old plant stains the Servicemaster guy couldn't get out, but we didn't expect miracles. The carpeting in the rest of the house now looks new, and the person who did the work was very personable. He answered all my questions patiently and thoroughly. We will definitely use Servicemaster again!

The reason for my rating is because when I called he was very rude and your ad does not say just janitorial cause I asked what all cleaning so refs you guys provided janitorial why he says it doesn't matter You still need treat customers with respect
