Very crowded due to rally but beautiful town

If you are visiting Deadwood make this your first stop! They have a coupon book which is good for many of the hotels, restaurants, shops, museums, and gambling halls. There is only a couple relics and a little bit on the local history to see inside but this is mostly just a good source of information.

Nice place to stop in for info on the town. The host gave us all kind of advice on this to see. She especially highlighted to free shows and the museums that were donation only to jeep it cheapn for families. Her advice was spot on. Full directions, great food suggestions, even a great place to catch a cocktail. Definitely recommend all new visitors to town to stop here and get the low down in whats happening. Even the train depot was built in the mid 1800s and was very interesting to walk around.

Nicely restored. The guy behind the information counter was very helpful. There are a few interesting displays about historical Deadwood that are worth the read.
