Great little walk describing the abundance of fossils found, the types, the eras, and the layers of sedimentary strata in which they can be found! The path is all boardwalk and handicap accessible whether rain or shine!

Nice trail. It's a boardwalk and I went off it to check out the unique, dry, pointy sandy hilly landscape. It's like you're on another planet. Watch for rattlesnakes. Enjoy the view of the drop off into the valley.

Small but nice exhibit of some of the fossils found in the area. Good place for kids to burn off energy climbing the landscape

Not what were expecting. We expected open dig sites that we could explore but it was just a board walk with a couple of educational stops. We had more fun getting off the trail and exploring the area around the trail.

There were no real fossils, basically just a short walk in a circle on a board walk looking at plaques with bronze fossil replicas. There was a cute mouse (chipmunk?) that looked like the one Scar was going to eat on The Lion King.
