I go to church every Sunday. I am giving a day back to God for the 6 days of work He gives me. Church is meaningful in my life and there I promise to God to be better and serve more. It gets me a little more familiar with the community in which I live and helps others to know how I am doing. Every church begins at 9, 11, and 1pm and there are 3 hours. The first meeting is Sacrament meeting where we sing, pray, take the Sacrament- like when Jesus Christ did the last Supper with his 12 disciples before he was crucified- and then we listen to a few people talk. Different people talk each Sunday. The second hour we talk about the gospel and study from scriptures while children go to classes of their own and nursery for children who are 18 months or older. Then the third hour is where women gather together and talk about things going on in the community and they sing and pray and have a lesson. This is so that we can be spiritually uplifted and be renewed in our desires to follow Christ. The men go to priesthood and do the same as the women. I love going to church and am committed to living a Christ like life.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the official name of the religion commonly called the Mormon Church. We believe first and foremost that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and the Son of God. While our backgrounds and experiences are diverse, Mormons are united by a commitment to Jesus Christ. The central purpose of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and as Christians, is to help all people come unto Christ. The roadmap to our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ is outlined in the restored gospel and taught by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It starts with being baptized into Christ’s fold and participating in His sacred ordinances and the fellowship of His Church. The journey continues with a loving congregation whose purpose is to lift and be lifted—and ultimately be saved in the Kingdom of God.

Not the biggest fan of this church. Has a stale smell to it.
