M I (11/17/2017)
I was referred here by my pain management doctor for lumbar and cervical surgery evaluations. I was expecting to see a surgeon or a doctor, but instead I got a nurse practitioner who treated me horrible. After reviewing my past MRIs & CT scans she says everything looks normal (contrary to 8 previous doctors, 3 of them being surgeon's) and she was going to recommend my meds be lowered.nnToday (2 weeks later) I saw my pain doctor and told him about my experience. It turns out this nurse has a history of treating patients who are on narcotic pain meds like addicts (despite my pain management record being clean, as all of my past urine tests) My doctor told me this nurse May has treated several patients he's sent like trash and he will no longer be reffering patients there. He assured me he's going to call and speak with her supervisor about her behavior and her place.nnSo to sum it up, if you are referred here you should know what to expect. Nothing but disappointment, you will leave upset, not learning anything new about your diagnosis or possible procedures for your condition. If you take C2 medications for pain you will be treated like an addict, regardless if your medical record is spotless. Her name is May, she's a nurse practitioner (wanna be doctor).
