I capsized my canoe yesterday on the Androscoggin River. It was windy and the shore was very soft, almost quicksand. When I got ashore I called 911and Alex, Mike Duke and Shawn Cote promptly picked me up, with my canoe, in the Errol Fire and Rescue boat. They were very professional, very capable and well trained and treated me with courtesy and kindness, even putting my canoe back on the roof of my car when we got to shore. Krystal, Edith and Carlton in the ambulance were also extremely well trained and monitored my recovery- I was soaking wet and cold- with skill and great kindness. What a terrific group! Bruce Jordan
