Prairie Chicken Dance Tours

Wow! What a wonderful adventure on the prairie of Nebraska. I felt like a kid on Christmas morning waiting for the chickens to arrive on the lek. I wasn't disappointed! Carol and Angus are wonderful and knowledgeable hosts. The tour very well organized. And a very personal experience with such a small group. Look forward to a return visit! Thanks Carol and Angus!

My wife Libby and I have driven up twice from Arkansas to see, hear, and photograph the greater prairie chickens. Both trips were great! We met several local people dedicated to the conservation of these birds. We had close views of 20+ birds at the lek both times. Great leaders, and a life affirming glimpse of the old west! Definitely a bucket list event for any birder!

The Prairie Chicken Dance Tours experience was EXCELLENT! Wonderful service from beginning to end. The birds are amazing and the blinds are very well-placed to catch all the action. A once-in-a-lifetime experience! Well worth it.

We enjoyed seeing the dancing chickens in March 2019. The tour organizers took care of us from beginning to end. Bring a long lens if you have one, and set your camera to silent mode. Or just watch and enjoy.
