Staff was great, instructive, horses were incredibly beautiful, older, mild, easy to ride. Scenery was amazing, just wish I could have taken the long trail ride!! My only suggestion would be to improve area to park. I would definitely recommend!

This place was great!! We did the half day ride and enjoyed every minute. It was awesome to see Crazy Horse on the ride. Kat was an awesome guide. I would highly recommend this place for trail rides!

Wranglers Addie and Marlee were wonderful working with our 6 year old who was a little bit timid around the horses. They helped her overcome her fear and took her in the round pen with Frisco. He was so sweet and gentle and politely took our granddaughter on a little ride. She was thrilled! Highly recommend Rockin R Rides.

By far our favorite part of our Black Hills vacation! We surprised our daughters (6 & 8) with an early morning 1.5hr trail ride and Rockin R Rides did not disappoint! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and the horses were absolutely beautiful! As first time riders we were a little nervous (especially with our youngest) but our trail guide, Jake, was fantastic! We were given thorough instruction and were led on a beautiful ride! This is an experience our family will talk about for years to come and we cannot recommend Rockin R Rides enough!

We took the half day ride and the scenery was just beautiful. The guide was so good with the kids. Our youngest grandchild was 7 and he thoroughly enjoyed the ride. We did a lot of things during our stay in SD and the kids rated their horse ride as their favorite activity. Now they want a horse! We highly recommend Rockin R Ranch!
