Hodges Bend is without a doubt one of my favorite bars in the Twin Cities. They have an inventive and varied menu of classic and original cocktails and the service is always friendly. The ambiance is swanky enough for a date night, but still retains a “neighborhood bar” feel. I’d highly recommend their Irish coffee or a Boulevardier.

Hodge's Bend has a beautiful ambiance that helps showcase their great cocktail selection. I stopped in for brunch and had a few dishes off their menu. Nothing was crazy, but there was definitely nothing to complain about. I'd consider going back in the future for dinner.

Really great ambiance and would definitely be a great spot for a drink, coffee, or both, especially for a date. It’s unassuming from the outside and you can’t get a feel for it by just driving by on University so it’s worth your time to stop in and try the drinks and food. Kinda feels like the place was picked up from downtown Minneapolis and set down on University Ave, in a good way.

This is has a wonderful atmosphere to relax and enjoy some fabulous food and beverages! They have the most amazing staff. This is a must stop and now one of my favorites to go to and hang out!

Absolutely in love with this place. The bartenders know their stuff here. Drinks have layers of complexity. I love the overall the ambiance and layout of the restaurant. A smaller food menu (a good thing!). They don't have a big sign and it's in an unassuming location by the light rail, so easy to miss.
