Memorial Healthcare Hospital

Went to the ER with my son in March of 21. Everyone was amazing, extremely friendly and did everything they could for my son. Dr. Moore even called the next day to check on my son. Meant a lot to me and I’m not one to post a review but that was the reason for this. They also delivered my daughter back in August of 2020 and also was a great experience as well. Thanks again for all you do.

On January 27th, I had elbow surgery. I got there pretty early and had to wait longer than I was told to get the surgery done but other than that, it went very well. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly, kind and answered every question me or my mother had. They treated me incredibly well before, during and after the surgery and I am extremely grateful for the care I received. Thank you, Memorial!

I Had my First and Only baby born here at Owosso Memorial Hospital and all I can say is they are fantastic on the Labor and Delivery side! The nurses are Awesome and do their job plus some to make you feel as comfortable as you can while at your stay!! I would definitely recommend this hospital to all family and friends!!

I went to the ER after battling COVID for 7 days. I was extremely sick and dehydrated. I had zero breathing issues. Instead of assisting me with getting fluids in my body they refused and insisted I instead have an X-ray of my chest, which of course showed no concern there. The doctor that saw me was extremely rude and clearly did not care about helping me get better. I left there without receiving the care I needed so I had to go to another hospital to get the fluids I knew I needed. I was treated like a normal patient there and began to get better. After expressing my concerns to a patient advocate at Memorial, she told me she would speak to her supervisor and call me back. No one ever called back. Today I received a bill in the mail for over $1700 for that ER visit. I have health insurance that will cover that entire cost other than possibly a small copayment that the registration department never said anything to me about when I was there. Clearly the billing department never attempted to bill my insurance company and closes at 4:30pm, making it nearly impossible for people who work during the day to call them. I called several times to talk to a supervisor today about this and every time I was transferred to people who never answered the phone. Some didn’t even have voicemail greetings so I have no idea of their name or position at the hospital. Long story short, my experience at Memorial was like being in the twilight zone. I will die before I ever go back there and surely will never take my children there again!

I recently fell off a 3' ladder.nThis caused, blunt force abdominal trauma.nMy abdomen was obviously injured.nNot a pretty sight.nI was very happy with the ER department.nI didn't have to wait. The Doc on staff was very concerned. My abdominal presentation suggestive internal bleedingnHe was proactive in cross typing my blood.nEstablished an IV.nI was in radiology for C-scan within 20 minutes.nThe results did not show internal bleeding.nI had a huge hematoma.nI was impressed that he consulted a surgeon for a 2nd opinion.nI wish I could remember his name.nWhoever you are; Thank you!
