I have been a customer at Compass Self Storage for over 4 years now. The facility is always very clean, and I love how easy it is to get through the gate and access my unit. Not only is it a great facility, but the staff has been so kind and helpful. I’ve gotten to know Drew and Carl really well, and I often stop in the office to say hi whenever I need to pick up/drop off belongings. I would definitely recommend Compass Self Storage to my friends and family!

The customer service at this company is second to none. I have had horrible experiences at other storage places, not problem here. Long story short, We closed our storage at another company, and called around the area looking for another, my Uncles English is not so good and Brian was the only one who was not rude on the phone to us so we came to his location on 14 mile. He showed us a few units and when we quickly discovered that they did not have the size we needed so Brian looked into the computer at the John R Compass 5 minutes up the road. He told us we needed two 10x20’s and that John R was the place to go. He wrote down all the information and price and called the other store to tell them We were on our way. Donnell at John R was wonderful as well. He was already expecting my Uncle and the process went very smooth and we got our 2 units, very nice storage and he felt very unrushed. After we were finished up we went back to thank Brian and we found out he works out of the Shelby Twp location and was just filling in. The service was great for someone just helping out, I thought he was the owner by the way we were treated. I would tell anyone looking for storage to come to Compass, 14 mile, John R, and Shelby Twp.

Had the best customer service at the Warren location. Brian the manager said he was just helping out and he usually is at this location in Shelby. For a guy who does not usually work here, he sure knew his stuff, spoke very clearly and was very kind to us and we felt unrushed.

I would highly recommend this storage facility. It is conveniently located, the customer service and staff were great!

We were greeted the moment we entered the building. Carl answered our questions and showed us the size unit we were interested in renting. He was very friendly and joyful. Carl was a pleasure to deal with, I wish more people had his attitude! I would definately recommend Compass Self Storage to anyone looking for a storage unit!
