I've done business with Joe for years. Yes he is little eccentric, however he is honest and does high quality work.nI live in Canton, Michigan and vacation in Manistee. When I have items that need to be repaired, I put them in the back of my SUV, drive to Manistee and have Joe do the work. Never been disappointed.
Quite expensive and he uses poor quality materials. I would not use his services again.
The owner is very helpful. My son was making leather holsters for knives that he had hand crafted and the owner gave him the thick leather material free of charge. I had four dining room chairs redone there and all showed a high level of craftsmanship. Large backlog in 2018 so can be slow. Work is excellent but not exactly speedy.
He redid our dining room chairs and he was fast, efficient and very friendly. Would definitely recommend and have over and over again.
The owner is by far one of the rudest business owners in manistee. Do not recommend his services. He also parked illegally on river street for half an hour obstructing traffic, and had my car block in for 20 of those minutes. He was not sorry and when I told him what he did he cursed me off. DO NOT GIVE HIM YOUR BUSINESS. He will treat you no better than I was treated.
