First time visiting a Portillo's and I was not disappointed. The burger was flavorful (single bacon cheeseburger) and the fries were tasty and piping hot. The cheese sauce they offer was a great accent to the meal...I put it on everything. Well worth the trip and definitely a good first experience. Very long line but fast customer service with accurate order taking. Cake shake for desert. Contains bits of chocolate cake blended in for the best of both a shake and cake. Portion size is just right. You have to be a big eater or starving to get a double.

Service was A+. Everyone was super nice and friendly. My husband loved his #1, fries and cheese. I liked the beef and cheese croissant, it just wasn't Cheesy enough for me (I'll just order extra cheese next time).I got fries and cheese too and I gotta say, their cheese sauce is bomb. Their fries and cheese is going to be my new guilty pleasure. My daughter liked her bacon cheeseburger, but said it's nothing special. She also got the chili and said it was good but nothing crazy amazing. We did get some strawberry shortcake. It come in a bowl and is a decent portion. It was super yummy. Def going to be going back to try some more stuff!

Food was excellent! Employees are helpful and friendly! They have directional signs from Hall Rd to the parking lot, great idea. They also have people outside directing traffic. Great idea! Made it easy to get in and out. I will definitely eat there again.

LOVED the decor and vibe inside! It is themed to a 1940s old car garage, full of era-appropriate signage and music playing. Even before I had my food I knew this was a place I wanted to come back to because of the environment.nnFood was good, not bad but could be better. I got a breaded chicken croissant, and felt it lacked an anchoring flavor outside the mayo and the upcharge for the croissant bun did not add anything to the sandwich. Onion rings seemed to be the star of the show for our table, everyone loved the extra crunchy texture. I would give the place 5 stars with some improvements to the food.

The best!! No more drives to Illinois for the BEST Italian beef sandwich. Added mozzarella and hot peppers with a side of crinkle cut fries. Do yourself a favor and get there fast!! Went on a Friday afternoon and drive through was only 20 minutes to order and get my food! Great customer service.
