My husband and I recently sold a house by owner in Union County, South Dakota. This is the second home that we have sold by owner in Union County in the past 12 years. We used Union County Abstract & Title for both closings, and I prepared all legal Purchase and Sale Agreement documents myself for both sales.nWe had the great pleasure of working with Sara during the most recent sale. She was organized, responsive and willing to help every way she could. Our buyers used a different closing company, and the closing was a complete nightmare. The other closing company insisted that we needed an attorney, that they would provide, which was not the case. The other closing company closed with the buyers using non-legally binding documents, the Offer to Purchase Real Estate Agreement, without our signatures, or even names, was used in lieu of the Purchase Agreement. We are still all stunned at how this could have been done, so beware!nIf you are in a position to close on the sale of property in Union County or Clay County in South Dakota, I would highly recommend going with Sara at Union County Abstract & Title Company.
