We went on this tour a week ago and LOVED it! We learned so much and we had a ton of fun. You can tell that the team really cares about their customers and genuinely wants to provide a wonderful hands-on experience. We traveled around the entire week doing all kinds of activities but this was our favorite thing we did. We will definitely return in the future! Thank you Rugosa for such a great experience!

Took the family on a trip to Maine and decided to do the Lobster Tour to try something different from the standard tour of the town and glad I did. Captain Bob and Professor John were informative and fun. Tour was a little over an hour and conveniently located close to town so if you're looking for something fun that doesn't take a huge time commitment, this is it. Great event for kids.

We decided to do the Rugosa Lobster Tour on the last day of our Maine trip, and are we glad we did. My Uncle who is from Boston recommended this exact tour, as he did it many many years ago. I’m guessing the quality of the tour has not changed because we had a blast. It was roughly an hour long. Captain Bob and John are both very personable and knowledgeable. John especially interacts with the passengers very well. He’s a very smooth speaker and throws in a few jokes here and there. As far as the lobster, we learned everything from the boats features, equipment, lobster traps, how the traps are brought up from the sea bottom, how to band the claws (which the passengers got to do and hold the lobsters), and the mating/anatomy of the lobsters. It was very informative considering it’s such a huge part of life to the locals in this part of the country. At a very reasonable price I’d recommend Rugosa Lobster Tours over and over again.

Fiancé and I went on the 1 pm tour today and had an AMAZING time. The staff was professional, fun and knowledgeable. The tour was a little over an hour which was perfect. Price was fair and I’d recommend these guys to anyone. Wonderful time, thank you!

What a great trip!!!! We were so happy to escape from our day to day during COVID. We have a 7 and 9 year old and it was perfect for them. There were 2 other families and everyone was spaced out. They are very comfortable adjusting to how much the kids want to participate or are a little scared and just want to watch. They even helped out a little guy who wasn’t feeling well. The tour was very informative and the scenery was beautiful. Ask for recommendations on where to pick up some local lobsters!
