This public park provides full access to the peninsula between the artificial Stump Pond and the Mousam River. The area is wooded and has no infrastructure but is instead a refuge for nature along the part of Mousam between Sanford and Springvale. One might see a variety of wildlife including beavers, muskrats, and birds such as ducks and woodpeckers along with many others. This is an underutilized public sanctuary to which I recommend every Sanfordian visit for a walk of the dog or skate of the pond in the wintertime,
