Who knew there's a white sand beach in northeastern Maine! Roque Bluffs is a beautiful state park perfect for hiking or kayaking. Benches and picnic tables are also available for whenever the weather permits such activities. A must see if you are in the area.
Lived there for 4 weeks in that lovely summer. Of 1988 , would swim regularly in Simpsons fresh water pond ud83dudc4dud83dudc4d
Amazing wonderful fun place to be, kids, adults or even dogs enjoy the trails and beach, no dogs allowed on beach. But on leashes and controlled on trails.
Sunsets are beautiful the hiking trails are great and the beach clean quiet and so relaxing
There is more to the Rogue Bluffs State Park than you would imagine. On one side is the Simpson Pond where you will see kayaks and on the other side is the Rogue Bluff Beach which is a very scenic white sand beach. I like it because they have picnic tables, bathrooms and grills. Nice place to visit.
