BEAUTIFUL place, very clean, lots of space to spread out and enjoy. Rangers are very friendly too. Awesome fishing spot!
One of my favorite Maine state parks. A wonderful place for families to spend a day. Excellent swimming, as it stays shallow for quite a ways out and this makes it easy for lots of folks to enjoy the water safely. Rocks to explore, trails to walk, good facilities and a great playground.

Clean and quiet lake beach with sand and rocks. The kids loved the big wading area!
Beautiful place, wonderful rangers, great fishing and awesome swimming. Seriously amazing place to go to get away from it all without really getting away from it all. Towns only a 10 minute drive and there's a small local store right there with the bare essentials to get by. Bring bug spray and fishing trunks and you're golden.
