Gorgeous
Off the beaten path (literally it’s a dirt road) but amazing views of katahdin and great hikes
There's a reason why this area is unspoiled and beautiful, because a certain group of people haven't been up here to destroy it. Until now.
Unfortunately, angry anti-government types have intentionally tried to direct google maps searches to KW&W to a false location in downeast Maine. This is the real national monument and no matter what certain angry folks try to do, this park is not leaving.
A breathtaking piece of Maine woods. Hopefully one that will remain protected for generations. Definitely don't forget the bug spray!
