I go to Liros Gallery once a year when I visit Maine. I've been merely a casual visitor and a buyer and found a warm welcome with as much help as I've ever wanted. Serge spent at least 15 minutes tracking down a reference for me today.

An old school gallery. Very nice art, mainly 19th century paintings and prints, some contemporary Maine artists and a collection of Russian icons as well. Custom framing and restoration. Generally open in the summer, and open by appointment other times of the year. In a charming spot, but not wheelhair accessible.

This is a rarely found art gallery that features collector's quality 19th and 20th Century art and Russian Icons. It celebrated its 52nd year of business having been passed from father to mother to son. Conservation framing and restorations are done on premises.
