I like this place because it is easy to launch my boat from here. I also notice that the people here are really nice. People will not hesitate to offer a helping hand. I like it here.

Seems like a beautiful area to launch from, very scenic. The beauty of the scenery was ruined by smokers around.... Despite the fact that they were sitting and walking by the signs clearly stating that smoking was not allowed. Others were parked in the middle of the driving lanes in the parking area, even though there were plenty of parking spots available, including one spot 10 feet from where they decided to park blocking the driving area. Would not recommend this area.
Easy and accessible public boat ramp for getting out onto casco bay. Lots of parking for cars and trailers. Can get a little backed up at busy times of the day.
Lots of parking (even on a Saturday during July). Ramp is somewhat steep, but nice long dock to accommodate lots of boats. Restrooms and showers available. Only downside is that there is a parking fee for noon residents, but that's ok.
